Safety & Participation Agreement
Leash Policy: Dogs must remain on a leash from your car to the facility and until removed by a swim specialist. Please re-leash them immediately after their session.
Pool Entry: Do not open the pool door—your swim specialist will greet you when the pool is ready. Arrive on time to ensure a full session.
Drying Off: Bring towels to dry your dog after swimming. A drying room with blowers is available to assist with drying. Due to natural variations in each dog's skin and coat chemistry, some may develop a slight sour odor if not completely dried.
Potty Breaks: Use the designated potty area before and after swimming. Waste bags and a disposal bin are provided. If your dog has incontinence issues, please ensure they relieve themselves beforehand.
Respect Others: Dogs must not interact with other dogs while on the property.
Water Quality: To maintain clean water, do not apply ointments, salves, or sprays to your dog for at least 7–10 days before swimming. If using topical flea control, wait 10 days and bathe your dog before their session.
Pool Accidents: If your dog has an accident in the pool, a $350 cleaning fee will apply, as the pool must be drained and refilled.
Clean & Groomed Dogs Only: Dogs must be bathed, brushed, and have their nails trimmed before their appointment. Muddy dogs will not be allowed in the pool.
Children: Children under 12 are not permitted inside the facility.
Health Concerns: If your dog has kennel cough, open wounds, diarrhea, or vomiting, please cancel and reschedule once they are healthy.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointments are very important to SandDancer Canine Swim Therapy & Fitness, and we have reserved your spot, especially for you and your dog. While we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, we respectfully request at least a 24-hour notice for cancellations.
Any cancellations within less than 24 hours and/or “no-shows” will be subject to a cancellation charge in the full amount of the swim session.
The cancellation policy gives us the time to inform our standby clients of any availability, thus allowing us to continue to provide the best quality of service for our established and future clientele. We appreciate your understanding and support.
SandDancer Canine Swim
Release from Liability & Indemnity Agreement
I, the undersigned warrant that I am the owner or person responsible for the dog(s) brought in for services at SandDancer Canine Swim. The parties to this agreement are NSBarmore LLC., Shawn Barmore, Nicole Barmore, Mary Beth, and Philip Glatz a business located at 6084 Powers Road, Orchard Park, NY 14127, and (the “Client”) the legal owner of my dog to whom services are going to be provided.
As the Client, I, therefore, accept and promise full responsibility by this indemnity for damage to property or injury or death, to people or other animals arising out of the use of the grounds and pool and the actions and conduct of the undersigned and my dog(s), and accordingly agree to indemnify NSBarmore LLC., Shawn Barmore, Nicole Barmore, Mary Beth and Philip Glatz, its owners, employees, and independent therapists for money damages and attorney fees; and further waive all personal claims and release NSBarmore, Shawn Barmore, Nicole Barmore, Mary Beth and Philip Glatz, its owners, employees, and independent therapists for damage, injury or death sustained by me, arising out of my participation in the activities and services of NSBarmore, Shawn Barmore, Nicole Barmore, Mary Beth, and Philip Glatz or presence on or use of the premises where services are performed; and further waive subrogation claims of insurers.
I acknowledge that I have read this release agreement and that I understand its purpose. I understand that this release agreement covers all aspects of the services and matters related to my pet while it is in the possession of NSBarmore LLC, Shawn Barmore, Nicole Barmore, Mary Beth, and Philip Glatz. I understand the potential risks incidental to the services, and I fully assume all risks.
